Tawhirimātea = In Māori tradition, Tāwhirimātea is the god of the weather. His parents were Ranginui (the sky father) and Papatūānuku (the earth mother), who lay close together. To let light into the world, Tāwhirimātea’s brothers separated their parents. But Tāwhirimātea did not agree to this. To show his anger he sent out his children, the four winds, and clouds that brought rain and thunderstorms.

This destroyed trees in the forests ruled by his brother Tāne. But Tāwhirimātea could not defeat his brother Tūmatauenga, god of the people. The battle between people and the weather continues today.

The Kahu is a speed 13 plus distance driver designed to give the best of control and long line shaping for higher power players. Similar to the Innova Katana, with more high speed stability, the Kahu has the glide to maximize distance with a predicable turn. 

The Standard Kahu will find a job for any player of any skill Level. These are no way near as over stable as a Kahu OS or as likely to turn as a Kahu XG. The more neutral in flight is the standard Kahu. A fast stable reliable driver that will find it’s way into the bag of any player weather a touring pro or even if your just starting out. The standard Kahu will be marked ‘K’ underneath the flight plate. Available in Atomic & Cosmic Plastic.
