The Nova is a unique putter designed with overmold technology. The flight plate is made from a firm Pro material that's fused to a grippy putter Pro plastic rim. The soft rim absorbs impact and sticks the landing while the firm flight plate allows for powerful throws making the Nova an excellent putter and approach disc.

XT is a tough plastic blend that was originally developed for the Nova and Atlas. It worked so well, it spread to other models. Grip is off the charts and durability is almost as good as our premium plastics. XT is firmer than R-Pro, and less firm than KC Pro with a unique grip that feels great in the hand, and inspires confidence when throwing.

XT nova
decent putt and approack disc, it had an awkward rubber feel outer (the outer rim is coloured), and also weird plastic notches on the inside. flys well and straight.

Max distance for this beginner
I have been playing Disc Golf for 18 months and have recently been sending a disc 100-115m regularly, usually a Blizzard Destroyer or Champ Mamba down wind. This Tern went straight out to 125m on my first round. A slight turn followed by a gentle fade... Unfortunately I lost it this weekend so I guess I'll be ordering another one shortly!
